Meet Mrs. Tschetter
Hello! My name is Heidi Tschetter, and I have been teaching 4th grade here at SWC for 15 years now. I taught 3rd and 4th grades at Leota Christian before that. Let's just say that I really do enjoy this age level a lot! :)
My husband Brian (facilities director at SWC) and I have three grown children. Chloe got married this past June. She and her husband, Trevor, just moved to Logan UT where Chloe will attend graduate school at Utah State. Chloe's twin sister, Kelsey, moved to Busan, South Korea this past summer where she will be teaching English for a year. She moved there to be close to her boyfriend, Hanuel, who is finishing college in Busan. And yes, we had to say a lot of hard good-byes this summer!!
Thankfully our son Jesse and his wife Kelsie (yes, we have two Kelseys in the family!) live less than two hours away in Freeman, South Dakota where Jesse manages the city golf course. I love spending time with my family whenever I can! Reading, bike riding, and camping are other favorite past times of mine.
My favorite Bible passage is Colossians 3:23-24. I always have my 4th graders learn it at the beginning of the school year: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." This means that no matter what you're doing in life, always do your best for Jesus!
