Besides the fundraising efforts of the school board for the general fund needs, including the annual donation sales, the following areas are a great support of our students and school in general:
Parent's Club - Elementary & Circles/Parent Group - High School: Our parents and other supporters are part of a parent group. At the elementary campus, our parent club host an annual cookie sale fundraiser and also a food stand at the annual Dutch Festival hosted by the city of Edgerton. At the high school, the individual parent groups host individual fundraising events and also participate in our annual Fall and Spring Soup Suppers. The funds they raised support the school, students, and staff with the purchase of items outside of the general fund budget. Last year, they contributed over $65,000 in funds to purchase items for athletics, technology, school maintenance, and classroom needs.
High School STUDENTS: Hold an annual food and magazine fundraiser for their Senior class trip to Washington D.C. With the ability to raise funds over a four year period, many, if not all our students have been able to cover the cost of their trip in full through these fundraising efforts.
FOUNDATION: Forefathers have established a foundation for both elementary and high school which contributes a yearly gift from interest earned on the principal balance to the general operating fund.
