Meet Mrs. VanBockel

Hello! And welcome to our third grade classroom! I am Barb Van Bockel and I am the third grade teacher here at SWC. I have always enjoyed working with kids and I have found teaching to be very fulfilling! I love that light bulb moment when a student suddenly understands a new concept. Kids bring so much laughter into my life! I enjoy being able to share with them my faith in God and that Jesus Christ is my Savior! It is a been a huge blessing to teach the kids of the kids I taught! This year's theme is RUN THE RACE based on Hebrews 12:1. So I will continue to persevere as God calls me to run for Him!

 

I live with my husband, Glenn on a farm east of Holland, MN.  Our 2  sons and their wives live in the suburbs of the Twin Cities. Our daughter, Annaka and her husband, Zach live in Bruce, SD. On March 27, we became grandparents to Lillian Joy (daughter of Zach and Annaka.) An interesting tidbit: our son Sam and our daughter Annaka also teach third graders!!
