Mr. Drooger
I've been teaching and coaching at SWC for over 5 years, bringing energy and sarcasm to junior high and high school math classrooms, elementary PE, and the high school girls' basketball team.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with Middle School Math and Science endorsements from Dordt University, proudly graduating as part of its very first class as a "university." I later earned a Master's in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, St. Paul, and a K-12 Principal License from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
My goals in the classroom are simple: have fun, learn some math, and discover how it all connects to God's creation — because numbers are pretty amazing when you stop to look at the design behind them.
Outside of school, you'll either find me on a walk with my family on a golf course... for the roughly five months each year the Midwest actually allows it. The other seven months are spent wondering why I didn't move somewhere warmer.
